Deck Manager- Organize swimmers on deck by heat and lane. Requires two volunteers. We always need more Deck Managers, so sign up with one of our leads to learn the position this year!
Announcer- Announces events, heats, and important information to keep our meets running smoothly.
Computer Manager -Manages scoring/entry software throughout the meet in coordination with opposing team.
Bullpen Manager - Get swimmers organized before they enter the pool deck so that we can account for swimmers 3 events prior to their event. Bullpen Managers are needed for each age group.
Finish Judge- Record swimmers' placement at the end of each heat.
Runner - Takes the place judge sheets to the computer table
Timer - Clock and record swimmers' times. Requires two volunteers/lane: two per lane from each team. Each timer is provided with an electronic stopwatch that works directly with our computer system.
Event Pole Operator - flip the event number cards on the event pole so swimmers, officials and the audience will know which event/heat is in the water.
Concession Stand - Organize, sell, prepare food items to raise money for the team. This includes set-up or clean-up, depending on shift.
Floater -This position will fill in during the designated shift as needed during the meet. Your shift could be anything from timing to the concession stand to the bullpen. Your help may be required the entire shift or part of the shift - it really just depends on the needs of the meet. Report to Volunteer Coordinators at sign in.
